Steve Dunne
Steve is an optimistic entrepreneur, naturally born connector, consultant and real estate developer. Having worked in business, marketing consulting and real estate development for the past twenty-five plus years, Steve’s successes are a result of his positive outlook, focus on results and a fierce commitment to his clients. Steve has an instinct for finding the real measure of a project’s success and the best methods to achieve it.
Committed to life-long learning and community development, Steve is an active volunteer in his community. He is President of Downtown Charlottetown Inc., past member of the PEI Business Continuity Group, a fundraising member of the Saint Dunstan’s Church Bell restoration project, past secretary of the Board of Directors for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation, past manager and assistant coach of Charlottetown minor hockey teams, and director with Habitat for Humanity PEI. Outside of the office, Steve enjoys being active, playing golf, travelling with his wife Joanne, dining and spending time with his two adult children.

In addition to being an equal partner of Dunne Group, Joanne is our numbers expert. Joanne graduated from the UPEI School of Business in 1991 and has been a practicing chartered accountant since 1993. Joanne brings valuable work experience from public accounting and a world-wide equipment manufacturer to our team. Along with sharing management responsibilities, Joanne looks after the financial aspects of the company and related business ventures. Joanne also plays an active role in production of Welcome PEI print publications. Joanne enjoys reading, travelling, discovering hidden PEI trails, supporting local theatre and spending time with close family and friends.

David Knight has more than 25 years’ experience as a business consulting generalist with experience in marketing, market research and business management. David has completed numerous assignments in the areas of primary and secondary quantitative and qualitative research, program and business evaluations and situation analyses, strategic planning, feasibility studies and business plans. David's track record completing projects with accuracy and ahead of schedule keeps clients happy.
David enjoys spending time with his wife Joy and his family and cheering on his New England Patriots.

Jon is a senior project manager. Jon’s commitment to clients, curiosity for all things business related and hard-working nature make him a perfect fit in sales and real estate. Jon knows the PEI tourism industry, fishing industry, and property management industry inside and out. When Jon is not working on advertising, property, or business deals, he can be found enjoying the high seas, whether it’s fishing lobster and tuna or water skiing with his two young sons.

Wendy has over 20 years of project management experience in the tourism and agriculture industries including overseeing the development of the award-winning Welcomepei.com. She is an effective multi-tasker who works closely with operators to ensure deadlines are met and contract details are implemented. She is intimately familiar with the Island’s tourism products, key markets and industry stakeholders. Wendy has overseen the production and distribution of more than 5 million tourism products, as well as the completion of major client fundraising events and tourism promotions. She would be among the most trusted Tourism advertising fulfilment professionals in Atlantic Canada.
Wendy holds two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Prince Edward Island. She enjoys spending her summers on PEI’s beautiful North Shore with her husband and three children.

She thrives on the challenge of multitasking while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Jessica’s commitment to excellence is evident in her ability to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and anticipate needs before they arise.

Nadia has been in the marketing & communications industry for over 20 years with an extensive skill set. With marketing and relationship management always at the forefront, Nadia has experience in, but is not limited to client relations, stakeholder & partnership management, and community engagement.
Nadia is an out-of-the-box thinker and has a deep passion for building and giving back to her community. She has been working with the Dunne Group since January 2022 and is thrilled to continue providing strategic direction and guidance.
Her genuine passion for people shines through in every aspect of her career, from leading, planning, and executing successful national campaign strategies like the beloved Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign, which increased donations for local charities nationally by 278%.
Her love of the East Coast has never wavered. She loves showcasing what her home has to offer. Although away for ten years, the people, passion, and culture brought her back to where she routed her family, developed a sense of community and continues to build and nourish her professional network.

Shannon is a skilled senior strategist and project manager who has worked in a variety of fields including film production, marketing, and tourism promotion for the past 11 years. A creative by nature, Shannon has the unique combination of attention to detail with a creative flair. She is personable, highly organized and excels at completing multiple tasks for a variety of clients. Shannon is a master at selling online. She loves marketing, creative writing and developing social media plans that drive real results. Shannon manages the team and multiple social media accounts day in and day out.
She is proud to be on an award-winning social media team for Welcome PEI, having been recognized for creating the most engaging social media presence to promote tourism operators online.
Shannon holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and is a Maritimer through and through with a passion for the sea, the sun and everything that’s fun about life on the East Coast.

As a skilled content creator, Ashley is responsible for the day-to-day online presence of accounts through content creation and delivery. She can create viral social posts and stories with an eye for how to best engage her audience. Ashley is a creator by nature, after working a decade in radio she began working with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of PEI to help assist and excel the non for profit’s social media marketing and communications. Ashley loves creating content that will engage and achieve and exceed metrics goals and results. She’s lived in a few different provinces and one territory, but it was PEI that she fell in love with and comfortable enough to call home. You’ll usually find her exploring the Island with her dogs, Lincoln and Riggs.

Courtney joined the Dunne Group team in November 2022 as a Content Creator and has been delivering engaging and captivating content for our clients. Courtney graduated from Holland College with a diploma in Marketing and Advertising Management in 2018 and has worked in the world of social media for over three years.
Courtney has had a strong passion for the Island since she was a little girl (partially because she’s seen Anne of Green Gables the Musical more times than she can count), and her passion for her home province makes her work with Welcome PEI a natural fit. She’s excited to expand her knowledge and share her love of all things PEI. Her free time is filled with chasing sunsets, cuddling with her cats, or whatever hobby inspires her that week.

Ethan joined the Dunne Group team in April 2023. Ethan is a highly motivated professional with 3+ years of business development experience and graduated with an MBA in Sport & Recreation Management from the University of New Brunswick. Ethan’s expertise includes developing and implementing effective sales strategies, building strong relationships with customers, and managing projects to achieve organizational objectives. He has a deep understanding of the local market and possesses a talent for identifying new business opportunities and driving growth. A skilled communicator and collaborative team player, Ethan is committed to delivering results and achieving success for both clients and stakeholders.
Outside of the office you can often find Ethan on a golf course, watching sports, or spending time with friends and family. Ethan enjoys traveling and would someday like to visit every country in Europe and the Americas.
